Michelle Houghton, Owner/Master Stylist
Born and raised in Great Falls, I have been a stylist for over 23 years. I’m passionate about education and have had the opportunity to teach as an educator for Davines. I’ve traveled around the world in search of the best artists to learn from in my craft, my love for art and architecture and ok, maybe the food. I feel pretty lucky to get to work downtown and be a part of the thriving businesses and community that make up the heart of our city. I enjoy spending my days behind the chair, getting to educate, using my love for design and marketing in the salon. Above all else, I value the connections made with my clients and the amazing women who make up the team of business owners at The Living Room. When I’m not working, you can find me fly fishing the beautiful rivers and streams in Montana, golfing and spending time with family and friends at our cabin in Monarch.

Master Stylist
I’m from Montana and have been a hair stylist for 19 years. I love hair cutting and helping my clients find the most modern hair style to best suit their own personal style.
I love spending time with my husband and two kids. My most favorite things to do are traveling to any warm destination, taking in a football game or attending a concert.
Jolene Charters, Master Stylist
I’m from Great Falls and have been a stylist since 2006! I love making people feel good and beautiful. I enjoy getting to know each and every one of my clients and they truly become more than just a client to me. Always continuing my education to stay up to date on new trends.
I enjoy spending time with family and friends in my down time. I have two dogs and a little boy. Being a mom is my absolute favorite. I like to travel to warm, fun places and just enjoy the great outdoors in Montana.
Darbi Fought,
Master Stylist
Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, I attended a year long program at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis in 2014 and graduated in 2015. I had the wonderful privilege of attending Aveda Congress in 2018 and became certified in hand tied extensions in November of 2019. Since then, I have continued education and have received my certification in Masters of Balayage in September of 2020. I have an absolute passion for anything and everything involving hair color, ESPECIALLY BLONDE! I love the creativity and freedom color gives me to express my style/esthetic when working on a clients hair. When I’m not busy doing total hair makeovers, you can usually find me walking my crazy German Shepherds on the Rivers Edge trail or cooking some ridiculously elaborate dish I found on Pinterest! I am a BIG family person and I’m very grateful for each and every one of them!
Allysa Short, Level 2 Stylist
Born in South Carolina and raised in Great Falls, MT, I love working at The Living Room after having graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in June 2023.
I love learning and creating as I have done for the last 5 years with my art. My heart is in color and making my clients feel their best. I am a curly hair specialist and love bringing out hidden curl in my clients.
When I’m not in the salon you can find me with my horses, spending time outdoors and working on my art.

Dorothy Stauffer, Level 2 Stylist
I went to college and got my bachelors degree in Nursing after high school. When my daughter was born I decided that I wanted to be a stay at home mom. The opportunity to stay home and raise my kids was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had. Realizing life’s too short and nursing wasn’t my passion, I decided to go back to school to do something I love, enter beauty school.
When I’m not behind the chair I enjoy spending time with my husband, two kids and our two Goldendoodles, gardening, crafting and baking.
I LOVE doing color and am so excited to be a part of The Living Room family! to build my skills and to make everyone in my chair feel beautiful!

Freya Lesiak, Esthetician
Born and raised in Montana, I grew up exceptionally influenced by the wellness industry. My mother has been a massage therapist all my life, and growing upI spent a lot of time at her practice, where I was able to witness the positive impact she left on her clients. I admired her determination to help others feel their best and eventually found myself taking a similar path. I aim to uplift and connect with each and every one of my clients through providing an attentive healing experience in a safe space where anyone can feel confident, relaxed and indulged in self care!
I began my official adventure into esthetics at Montana Academy of Salons in 2021, then later graduated and received my license in 2022. In the treatment room, I tend to take a more holistic approach when addressing any concern a client may have because conditions of the skin are often a reflection of the body’s physical, mental, and nutritional needs. I’m passionate about using clean and natural products that are healthy for our bodies as well as kind to our planet. I value cultivating unique and efficient services, along with educating my clients about products and at home care. Being able to help others achieve and maintain their goals while watching their confidence thrive is why I love what I do.
The services I provide include: facials, sugar waxing, brow tints, brow laminations, lash tints and lash lifts.

Moriah Mills, Massage Therapist
Before anything, I am a very proud mom of 5 beautiful amazing children!
My true passion and gift in life is helping others relax and assist in healing their bodies! I have been a Massage Therapist for 24 years. I graduated Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1998 and opened my practice immediately after. I have had the opportunity to impact people's lives in a positive way that has been very rewarding. I combine my massage training and years of experience to give everyone a customized massage for optimal health and relaxation. I specialize in techniques that provide, pain relief, pain management, stress relief and many other health benefits.
I love being a part of the team at the Living Room and taking care of my new clients in the Great Falls community!
